Warren Ran is a rising junior in Lord Byng Secondary School, and he is more than excited to take on his 3rd year at Horizon Publications as the returning CFO of the organization. Aside from finance, Warren loves talking to people and making connections.

Irene Qu is a rising senior at Port Moody Secondary School, and she has been involved in Horizon for around a year and a half. Through Horizon, she has been able to perfect her chapter consultation skills, been able to interact individuals around the world, and establish connections across the organization. She is very excited to be continuing in Horizon for her senior year and hopes to create large-scale events for the upcoming year.

Currently a junior at Sentinel Secondary, Jacqueline is super excited to be serving as the Chief of Staff for the 2026-2027 year! Outside of her work at Horizon, she can often be found debating about political issues, researching about niche topics, and sewing random projects that never turn out the way she intends.

Passionate about the fields of Mathamatics and AI, Aadyabir is a grade 12 student at Grandview Heights Secondary. Aadyabir is excited to continue to serve their role as the Cheif Technology Officer at Horizon Magazine. Outside of Horizon, he explores how mathamatics can apply to non-Stem fields, working on analytical projects in the fields of Music, Finance and Spatial Analysis.

J.J. Jang is an urban studies student at Simon Fraser University. Passionate about the world around them, they channel that passion into their photography work by aiming to capture the ever changing environment people live in. Outside of Horizon, J.J. can be found walking around the city photographing anything and everything, as well as volunteering with transit related campaigns.

Fearfully entering her senior year at Little Flower Academy, Jiyan Jane Fan (aka Jiji) is excitedly serving as The Horizon’s editor-in-chief for 2026-2027. Aside from writing and editing, Jiji enjoys reading Kyo Lee’s poetry, looking longingly at Snoopy merch, and updating her performative Goodreads.
